Our last day on the Venediger Höhenweg, starting from the Neue Prager Hütte, down to the village of Innergschlöß, then bus and trains to Salzburg.

Our longest day on the Venediger Höhenweg, starting from the Badener Hütte, over the Löbbentörl pass, down into a glacially carved valley, and finally up to the Neue Prager Hütte.

One of the longer days on the Venediger Höhenweg, starting from the Bonn Matreier Hütte, climbing steeply over the Galtenscharte pass, and then a long trek over and up to the Badener Hütte.

A pleasant half-day of hiking from the Eisee Hütte to the Bonn Matreier Hütte.

Today was shorter hike from the Neue Sajathütte over to the Eisseehütte without so much elevation gain, which gave us time to have lunch at the hut and do an afternoon hike up to the Eissee lake.

Today will be one of the biggest days on the trail, hiking over 3,400 ft up to the summit of the 10,350ft Kreuzspitze and down to the Neue Sajathütte.

Today’s route took us from the Essener Rostocker Hütte up and over the Türmljoch on the Schweriner Weg (trail) and down to the Johannishütte.

We started our hike on the Venediger Höhenweg from the Virgental valley up to the Essener Rostocker Hütte (hut).
